Es muss nicht immer gleich Symantec oder McAfee sein. In den meisten Fällen benötigen diese zu viele Ressourcen und Entschleunigen  sogar aktuelle Systeme zu Computerdinosaurier… Nun kann man sich zu etwas abgespeckten Packete zugreifen. OK einige davon haben sicherlich nicht die gleichen Features wie die Grossen Zwei aber als Schutz reichen die alle mal.

Windows 7 Shortcuts

  • Win+Home: Clear all but the active window.
  • Win+Space: All windows become transparent so you can see through to the desktop.
  • Win+Up arrow: Maximize the active window.
  • Shift+Win+Up arrow: Maximize the active window vertically.
  • Win+Down arrow: Minimize the window/Restore the window if it’s maximized.
  • Win+Left/Right arrows: Dock the window to each side of the monitor.
  • Shift+Win+Left/Right arrows: Move the window to the monitor on the left or right.

 

  • Drag window to the top: Maximize
  • Drag window left/right: Dock the window to fill half of the screen.
  • Shake window back/forth: Minimize everything but the current window.
  • Double-Click Top Window Border (edge): Maximize the active window.

 

  • Win+number (1-9): Starts the application pinned to the taskbar in that position, or switches to that program.
  • Shift+Win+number (1-9): Starts a new instance of the application pinned to the taskbar in that position.
  • Ctrl+Win+number (1-9): Cycles through open windows for the application pinned to the taskbar in that position.

  • Shift+Right-Click on a file: Adds Copy as Path, which copies the path of a file to the clipboard.

Windows wird bald weit unter 10 Sekunden Booten

Stellt euch ein PC vor der innerhalb von 10 Sekunden bereit steht und mit bereit meine ich Windows läuft und ist ready to use.

 

Die Leute von Phoenix arbeiten enger den je mit Microsoft um PC…™s schneller booten zu lassen…¦ Mal schauen was APPLE dazu sagen wird. J The race is on.

Firefox Profil

Wer von euch hat nicht schon mal sein PC neu aufsetzen müssen.

Ich habe irgendwann aufgehört zu zählen. Auch mit Images wie Acronis, Ghost und Dergleichen kommt es vor dass man die Image nicht mehr benutzen kann, weil man einen neuen PC hat, neues Mainboard, andere Grafigkarte etc. So möchte man trotz allem sich die Mühe 1 mal machen, um dann wieder eine saubere Image ziehen zu können.

Es ist anzuraten dass man seine Daten stets auf einer anderen Partition oder gar Platte abspeichert. Bei einigen Ausnahmen kann man dies nicht ohne grösseren Aufwand. Wie zum Beispiel beim Firefox Profil. Klar könnte man diese theoretisch ja auch Auslagern… (Müsste ich mal Probieren… 🙂 ).

In meinem Fall interessieren mich lediglich die Bookmarks… Diese Kopier ich mir raus und mache ein Backup davon.

Wenn man diese dann wieder benutzen möchte geht dass dann nicht so einfach wie früher beim Netscape… Copy Paste… Nein beim Firefox ist der Profilemanager gefragt. Damit lässt sich ein neues Profil erstellen in dem man die Bookmarks integrieren kann.

Mit diesem Befehl firefox.exe -ProfileManager den Firefox starten und danach ein neues Profil erstellen…
